Today, construction crews working on the US 1 Jupiter Bridge reconstruction project encountered an unexpected visitor – a sea turtle!

According to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4, the turtle appeared to have lost its way and ended up at the construction site.

Fortunately, the construction crews acted swiftly and contacted the Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) for assistance. The turtle was then carefully rescued.

Thankfully, the turtle appeared to be unharmed, just a bit confused, according to FDOT. After a medical evaluation by the LMC, the turtle will be released back into the ocean.
