In a surprising turn of events following the confirmation of Han So Hee's relationship with actor Ryu Jun Yeol, the actress has seen several of her brand deals come to an end. This development has fueled discussions and speculation regarding the timing of these contract conclusions relative to her personal life revelations.

Lotte Chilsung Beverage and Cheoeum Cheoreom Part Ways

As of March 20th, one of the most notable contract endings is with Lotte Chilsung Beverage for their soju brand "Cheoeum Cheoreom." Han So Hee's departure was confirmed in early March when a spokesperson from the company stated, "After a year-long contract period with Han So Hee, we did not renew the agreement. The next advertising model has yet to be determined." Han So Hee's association with the brand was significant as she was chosen for her vibrant engagement with fans on social media, marking the first time in eight years that the face of the brand has changed within such a short span. Her tenure ended much sooner than her predecessors like Lee Hyori, HyunA, Shin Min Ah, and Suzy, who had longer associations with the brand.

NH Nonghyup Bank and HeyDealer Adjustments

Furthermore, a three-year collaboration with NH Nonghyup Bank concluded at the start of this month. Han had been a model for the bank since 2021, and industry sources suggest that the company is looking to refresh its promotional strategy with a new ambassador.

The used car trading platform, HeyDealer, has taken measures to close the comment section on their YouTube advertising videos featuring Han So Hee, in response to negative commentary following the recent news.

Han So Hee's Illustrious Career

Despite these recent changes in her commercial partnerships, Han So Hee's career in the entertainment industry is marked by significant milestones. From her appearance in SHINee's "Tell Me What To Do" music video in 2016 to her impactful roles in dramas like "The World of the Married," Han has received acclaim for her acting prowess. Her role in "The World of the Married" earned the series the title of the highest-rated television series in Korean cable television history, and Han herself was nominated for Best New Actress – Television at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards.

In addition to her acting career, Han revealed in January 2024 that her journey into the entertainment industry was not planned. Originally aiming for higher education in France, financial constraints led her to part-time jobs and eventually acting, on the suggestion of her agency's head.

While Han So Hee's departure from several brand deals has certainly sparked discussion, her career in acting and her influence on social media remain strong. With roles in significant productions like "My Name" on Netflix and the Disney+ mini-series "Soundtrack#1," Han continues to be a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, both in Korea and internationally.
