Rock Island Fire Department holds car seat station

The Rock Island Fire Department is providing a car seat safety check and fit station.

Caregivers can learn how to properly secure children in their vehicles during this free event. Technicians will be on hand to ensure your car seat fits the child and the vehicle. Additionally, technicians can provide information on which way a child should face, when a child should change seats, and assist installing car seats.

The Rock Island Fire Department’s car seat safety check and fit station is Saturday, March 23, 9:00 a.m. – noon at Rock Island Fire Department’s Central House, located at 1313 5th Ave., Rock Island. For more information, click here.
