BLOCKBUSTER/MILLER LITE

Sandi Harding, manager of the last Blockbuster, holds a VHS tape and a Miller Lite novelty mug shaped like a VHS tape at the store in Bend on Thursday.

Beer brand Miller Lite teamed up with Bend’s famous “last Blockbuster” on Thursday for some ‘80s-inspired nostalgia.

The light beer label is re-launching its popular “Great Taste, Less Filling” ad campaign by releasing “beer tapes,” which include a real, playable VHS tape with advertising content and a drinkable novelty glass shaped like a VHS tape. The tapes were available only on Thursday at the Bend Blockbuster on Revere Avenue, widely known as the last Blockbuster video store on Earth.
