SPRINGDALE, Ohio (WXIX) - A man has been arrested after police say he put nails on a roadway.

Anthony Dyson, 44, of Cincinnati, is charged with placing hazardous materials on a highway, according to the Springdale Police Department.

Police explained that Dyson’s charge is only in connection with one specific incident.

During the overnight hours on March 24, police say Dyson used a “unique technique” to link nails together and place them over Crescentville Road in Springdale.

Officers investigated and linked the nails from the scene back to Dyson, the police department said.

An arrest warrant was issued for the 44-year-old. Springdale police added, “Subsequently, Sharonville and West Chester Police signed additional charges against Dyson for violations within their respective jurisdictions.”

Dyson, according to police, is being held at the Hamilton County Justice Center on a $15,000 bond.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.

During a FOX19 NOW report on Feb. 27, Dyson was out on bond following an arrest for vehicular vandalism, according to a police report from West Chester.
