Orlando weather: Central Florida to see cool mornings, sunny afternoons through weekend

High pressure continues to build at the end of the week, with drier air out of the north filtering in. We'll see plenty of sunshine with a northeasterly wind. Highs warm into the mid-70s inland to low 70s along the coast.

High pressure keeps sunshine in the forecast all weekend long and helps move warmer air into Central Florida. After a chilly start to the day, Friday's highs will break into the mid-70s over most parts, but they will be slightly cooler along the coast.

THIS WEEKEND:  High temperatures are set to climb into the low and mid-80s on Saturday and Sunday. For any Easter Sunday plans, it will be a cool start to the day. A jacket or sweater may be needed for any early-in-the-day plans with morning lows in the 50s. Temperatures will warm up a big way, though, as afternoon highs near 80 degrees.

LOOKING AHEAD: April begins on Monday, and it's going to be a hot start to the month! Plan for highs near 90° on Tuesday afternoon. With high pressure still in control, it will be a dry stretch as well with plenty of sunshine through Tuesday. Our next system arrives on Wednesday, bringing scattered showers and a few storms to the region.
