HARTFORD, CT -- Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont has declared March 28 University of Idaho Day in his state in honor of the University's help when Yale came to town for March Madness.

Yale's band couldn't travel with their team to March Madness, so the Idaho Vandals stepped in

SPOKANE, Wash. — One of the best traditions of college basketball is, of course, the band.

The Vandals' band filled in for Yale during their game against Auburn last Friday, learning the Yale Fight Song and supporting the team to their tournament win.

Hey Idaho, Connecticut says thanks!

Last week, when the @Yale Marching Band was unable to travel to the NCAA Tournament, the @uidaho band stepped up to support our Bulldogs.
