The FGCU women's basketball team emerged victorious over Central Arkansas on Saturday night, clinching the ASUN championship title and punching their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.Hosted at Alico Arena, the Eagles soared to their seventh consecutive tournament win against the Central Arkansas Sugar Bears on March 16.This is the 13th consecutive year that FGCU women's basketball has advanced to the Atlantic Sun Conference championship game.Throughout the season, the Eagles successfully scored an impressive 21-game winning streak, including a 16-0 ranking, leading the conference in both total offense and defense.
