1st Source Bank is expanding west to Lake County.
The South Bend-based bank, the largest headquartered in northern Indiana, will open a new loan production office at 9800 Connecticut Drive, Crown Point.
The new loan production office will serve businesses with lending, deposit, treasury and other commercial credit services.
The branch is open by appointment-only.
“We are excited about this opportunity to grow our presence and serve clients in a new market, introducing them to the services and people that make 1st Source special,” said Matt Vessely, West Region president at 1st Source Bank. "This expansion rounds out our footprint to cover all of Northwest Indiana and opens up a robust market to our award-winning commercial banking offerings."
New hire Benjamin Brown will be based at 1st Source Bank's new office. He has 25 years of experience in the banking sector, mostly in commercial lending.
