(WGHP) — After two terms, U.S. Rep. Kathy Manning (D-Greensboro) is wrapping up her time in Congress.

When the Republican-led North Carolina General Assembly redrew the state’s congressional districts, Manning saw the writing on the wall. A Democrat was unlikely to win the district, so she decided not to run. Addison McDowell, a former Ted Budd staffer who earned the endorsement of Former Pres. Donald Trump, won the GOP primary, and, with no other parties running, he is expected to easily win the seat in November.

On Sunday, March 24, 2024, Manning joined us to discuss what she has accomplished in two terms and the battles she’s currently fighting in Congress.
