As Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid matriculated into Allegiant Stadium for Sunday's Super Bowl, he paid tribute to a former coaching great. Reid wore a jacket similar to what former Chiefs head coach Hank Stram wore during Super Bowl IV. Super Bowl IV was the first of the Chiefs' three Super Bowl championships, as Kansas City defeated the Minnesota Vikings 23-7. Stram made history in that Super Bowl, becoming the first coach to be wired during a championship game. The Chiefs were nearly two-touchdown underdogs in the Vikings. NFL Films in 2018 published a video with some of Stram's best moments from the Super Bowl: Earlier this season, Reid passed Stram to become the franchise's all-time leader in regular season wins.
