2025 Super Bowl odds: Jets still far from contenders after Mike Williams, O-line additions

After a busy early free agency period, the Jets still aren’t getting much respect from Vegas oddsmakers.

Gang Green has bulked up their offensive line and added to their receiving corps with still a month to go before the NFL draft, in which they hold the 10th overall pick

But that hasn’t been enough to get them into early Super Bowl conversations.

The Jets are currently +3000 to win the 2025 Lombardi Trophy, which is tied with the Falcons, Chargers and Rams for the 12th-best odds in the NFL at BetMGM Sportsbook. The Jets and Chargers are also even with the seventh-best odds to win the AFC at +1600.

In the AFC East, BetMGM is giving the Jets the third-best shot (+250) at winning the division behind the Buffalo Bills (+130) and Miami Dolphins (+200).

The Jets will look to prove oddsmakers wrong with better protection up front.

Joe Douglas and Co. added Tyron Smith, Morgan Moses and John Simpson to an offensive line that was perhaps the team’s biggest weakness outside of the quarterback position.

They also added Mike Williams, who will pair with Garrett Wilson in an excellent 1-2 punch at wide receiver.

After finishing 7-10 last season, the Jets will also have a solid crack at improving through the draft.

The Jets are the betting favorites to pick tight end Brock Bowers (+230) at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Perhaps the most important addition will be the health of quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets had Super Bowl aspirations before Rodgers suffered a season-ending Achilles injury just minutes into the season.

At one point last March, after Rodgers announced his intention to play for the Jets, only five teams – the Chiefs (+550), Bills (+850), Bengals (+900), Eagles (+900) and 49ers (+900) – had better Super Bowl odds than Robert Saleh’s club (+1200)
