If you’re searching for a hotel to camp out in during Tin Pan South, the Hutton Hotel is a must for music lovers. Thanks to its network of secret entrances, two-story soundproofed suites, utility hookups for tour buses, and onsite venue, Analog, its a no-brainer for artists looking for a place to stay when in town. The venue is hosting tons of shows during Tin Pan South in addition to educational and conversational sessions. Before your show, head to the Hutton’s new signature restaurant, Evelyn’s, for a knock-your-socks-off meal. Menu standouts include the confit bacon with apple butter, tuna tartare, scallops with mushroom risotto, and seafood bisque.

Compared to the Bluebird, 3rd and Lindsley is a massive space — there’s seating for up to 340 people. The venue’s Tin Pan South lineup teases a few special guests alongside notable names like Chris DeStefano, HARDY, and Sara Evans. Cold beer and craft cocktail options are aplenty (including a few nonalcoholic ones), as well as a menu that features sharable apps, salads, burgers, and a southern-style catfish plate.

During Tin Pan South, you can catch two shows daily at the Lounge at City Winery, an elegant venue located in SoBro. Arrive early to sip a cocktail on the rooftop and take in the skyline views before settling into your table for dinner and a show. The concert dining menu emphasizes shared plates like tuna crudo, wagyu sliders, wings, and hot honey pizza, each of which lists a recommended wine for pairing.

There’s a plethora of karaoke bars in Nashville, but the one inside the Graduate Hotel is sure to provide a memorable experience — the stage includes a backup band of animatronic critters. During Tin Pan Week this year, you’ll have to hand the mic over to the pros, but that’ll give you a chance to soak in the music while enjoying a Whiskey Glasses cocktail (bourbon, banana, and black walnut) and small bites like Tajin-topped fries, flautas, and a refreshing paleta for dessert.

Tucked inside the Holiday Inn adjacent to Vanderbilt’s campus, the Commodore Grille has been dedicating its stage to songwriters since the 1980s in a proud deviation from the honky tonk entertainment found just down the street. The hotel itself has been known to host a celebrity or two, and the Commodore Grille stage is no exception. This year’s Tin Pan South lineup includes two round-style shows daily, closing with a ‘Best Of’ Tin Pan South Songwriter Seminar on Saturday night. The Southern-influenced dinner menu includes Tennessee whiskey barbecue wings, brisket nachos, shrimp and grits, and smoked gouda grits.

Anzie Blue is a Hillsboro Village cafe that temporarily closed its doors in order to reinvent itself as a music venue in 2023. Now, it’s gearing up to host Tin Pan South shows for the first time in its history. Anzie Blue’s location makes it perfect for grabbing a pre- or post-show meal at E3 Chophouse. Opt for classic steakhouse fare like filets, surf and turf, and starchy sides, or go coastal with a seafood tower, raw oysters, or caviar. E3 also boasts one of the best whiskey collections in the city.

Fox & Locke may be a bit off the Tin Pan South trail, but it’s a worthwhile trek for music fans. The historic Leiper’s Fork restaurant has a small stage in the corner, but don’t let that deceive you. Some of the biggest names in country music have popped up for open mic night on Thursdays — most recently, Chris Stapleton. Round out the country-style experience with a meat and three plate for dinner, which always includes pulled pork and soulful sides.
