An Aussie food blogger has made a splash in the property market after buying a lavish $7million mansion.
RecipeTin Eats' founder and best selling author, Nagi Maehashi, purchased the Victorian-style home in Hunters Hill, Sydney's northwest, in December.
The former Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer for construction firm Multiplex skyrocketed to fame after starting her recipe blog RecipeTin Eats in 2011.
The foodie's blog was converted into a book, RecipeTin Eats: Dinner, which featured on the New York Times Best Sellers list and won Book of the Year at the Australian Book Industry Awards for 2022.
The seven-figure price Ms Maehashi recently forked out dwarfs the renovated four-bedroom home's previous price tag of $4.75million when it sold in November 2019.

The mansion was sold off market by BresicWhitney's Nicholas McEvoy who also oversaw the 2019 sale.
Contained by a wrap-around sandstone veranda, the three-bathroom and two-car space home is just a stone's throw from the Lane Cove River and local schools.
Its listing spruiks the home as having an 'impressive preservation, enjoy original character and modern enhancements for a family lifestyle'.
It also features hardwood floors, a vine-covered alfresco entertaining area, a pool and approved development applications for a 'large renovation'.
Records seen by Domain show Ms Maehashi bought the Hunters Hill mansion after selling her Mona Vale home for $6million, having purchased it for $3.5million in 2019.
Despite never having worked in a restaurant or any formal chef training, Ms Maehashi's passion for food helped RecipeTins grow to one of the largest recipe blogs in the world.

Aussies immediately took a liking to her recipes because they break down difficult classics into home-made meals.
Ms Maehashi has over 1.3million followers on Instagram.
She previously told Daily Mail Australia that she works 'way harder than I ever did in the corporate world' to capitalise on her virality.
'Most days I'm up to my armpits in food mess... experimenting, shooting or filming, all while batting away a giant dog who thinks he's allowed to taste test everything,' she said.
Her popularity led to RecipeTin Eats: Dinner becoming the highest selling book by a debut Australian author in its first week on the shelves.
