A GROUP of young volunteers has screened a film about knife crime.
The 30 youngsters from across Lewisham and Greenwich made a movie called One Choice in the wake of a spate of stabbings in south-east London last year.
It follows the story of teenager, CBlood, who is involved in an incident involving a knife which has a dramatic effect on the rest of his life.
More than 1,200 people watched its premiere at the Greenwich Picture House in Greenwich High Road on August 25.
Cat Duval is a team leader for the youth volunteer group, Vinvolved, which organised the project.
She said: "Written and created by young people for young people, dealing with a current issue affecting London youth, makes it real and relevant.
"Gritty, moving and from the heart, this film screening is not to be missed.”
