Beach cleanup sponsored by Friends of Palm Beach scheduled for Saturday

The Friends of Palm Beach's monthly beach cleanup will take place Saturday morning at 1576 S. Ocean Blvd., about a mile south of the Southern Boulevard Bridge.

Friends of Palm Beach will give community hours for the work, which goes from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. All supplies, including ice water, are provided, and closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Friends of Palm Beach is a nonprofit that works to clear island beaches of ocean trash through regular eco-friendly cleanups.
