If you’re a “Ghostbusters” fan, it’s a good time to be alive. After waiting decades for a new film in the franchise, we’ve gotten three films (including the unjustly maligned female-led reboot) in eight years. The latest entry, “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” further expands the universe, but has been getting a mixed response from critics and audiences alike.

Alec Kerr, film critic for The Conway Daily Sun, and guest host Rob Clark review "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire."

“Frozen Empire” picks up two years after the events of 2021’s “Ghostbusters: Afterlife,” which saw the family of Egon Spangler (the late Harold Ramis) save the world in Oklahoma, reunite the Ghostbusters and get closure with the ghost of Egon.
