The best outfielders in MLB The Show 24 are among the best players in the entire game. There is a wealth of talent in this position group. There are an astonishing four 99 OVR players in the outfield, and there are only five such rated players in the entire game! Those guys are amazing, but who else is good? Find out below!

Who are the best outfielders in MLB The Show 24?

Honorable mentions include Corbin Carroll, Randy Arozarena, Luis Robert Jr., Nolan Jones, Cody Bellinger, Lane Thomas, and Chas McCormick. They are a tier below these outfielders, who are the best in MLB The Show 24 as per their Franchise Mode or Exhibition ratings. Diamond Dynasty cards can vary in OVR.

10) Juan Soto – 91 OVR

Juan Soto has the best eye of any batter perhaps in a very long time. The New York Yankees slugger is almost a lock to have a .400 or higher on-base percentage, and he has a very nice power stroke as well. His defense leaves a bit to be desired, but he’s still one of the best in the league and a fine addition to New York’s lineup.

9) Kyle Tucker – 92 OVR

The Houston Astros have a really good outfield, and Kyle Tucker is a major part of that. The right fielder possesses a rare blend of speed and power that allowed him to hit almost get into the 30/30 club. He narrowly missed with 29 homers but had 30 stolen bases.

8) Fernando Tatis Jr. – 92 OVR

Fernando Tatis Jr. made his debut in the outfield last year and became a Platinum Glove winner in right field. He can also hit extremely well and has good speed. He knocked in 78 RBI last season and that was in only 141 games. A full season will be even kinder to his numbers and perhaps boost his OVR.

7) Julio Rodríguez – 93 OVR

Julio Rodriguez was the Rookie of the Year winner in 2022, and he followed it up with an impressive sophomore campaign. Along with good defense and base running, the Seattle Mariners center fielder hit .275 with 32 home runs, a career high.

6) Adolis Garcia – 93 OVR

The stats back up how great Adolis Garcia is on offense. He whalloped 39 home runs last year with the Texas Rangers and he might hit more this season. He developed into a true superstar in the playoffs and his MLB The Show 24 rating backs that up.

5) Yordan Alvarez – 96 OVR

Yordan Alvarez is pretty defensively challenged, which is why the Houston Astros prefer him to play designated hitter. It is, therefore, a testament to how good he is with the bat that he’s a 96 OVR with bad defensive traits. He is as feared as any hitter in baseball.

Zach’s Tips

Neither Adolis Garcia nor Yordan Alvarez is winning any Gold Gloves, which is why they often move around and play DH. Nevertheless, in MLB The Show 24, it’s a testament to their incredible offensive capabilities that they’re on this list at all.

4) Mookie Betts – 99 OVR

This is technically cheating, since Mookie Betts is officially the Los Angeles Dodgers’ starting shortstop after briefly being among their second basemen. However, for the purposes of the game, he’s still an outfielder and an exceptional one at that. He can defend with the best of them, hit for batting average, and show off a little power and speed. He’s a rare all-around talent that few are better than.

3) Ronald Acuna Jr. – 99 OVR

Ronald Acuna Jr. had a historically impressive run last season. He is the first player to ever hit 40 homers and steal 40 bases. This unique skillset is more than deserving of a 99 OVR rating, as there is truly no one like the Atlanta Braves star.

2) Mike Trout – 99 OVR

Mike Trout has had some injuries, but MLB The Show 24 did not forget how good he is. He has the highest active OPS at an astonishing .994 for his career. The Los Angeles Angels outfielder is a solid base runner, decent defender, and exceptional hitter. It really doesn’t get much better in any category.

1) Aaron Judge – 99 OVR

In 2022, he broke the American League record for home runs. In 2023, Aaron Judge was on pace to have a similar season, and despite missing more than two months, he was fifth in the league in that stat. The New York Yankees superstar, if healthy, is the best hitter in the game and a solid defender, too.

That’s all for the best outfielders MLB The Show 24 has that we have enjoyed using as we play, but be sure to check out the server status, whether or not it’s on PC, and crossplay capabilities!
