Police say man facing gun & drug charges after early morning arrest

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - A man is behind bars on gun and drug charges after police from the east say they arrested him around 1 a.m. Friday morning.
The Kinston Police Department says 32-year-old Darryl Bryant Jr. was arrested at 1:20 a.m. this morning.
The Vanceboro man was pulled over for traffic violations on East New Bern Road and Neuse Road, according to the police department.
Officers say that after further investigation they found a gun and weed.
Bryant is facing a felony carrying concealed gun charge and simple possession of marijuana.
