A blanket belonging to a missing 3-year-old Wisconsin Dells boy was found in Manitowoc County, authorities said Monday.
The Two Rivers Police Department said a red plaid blanket belonging to Elijah Vue, who has been missing for nearly a month, had been found earlier in the investigation on Goodwin Road east of Highway B and was determined on Monday to be Elijah’s.
A garment matching the blanket’s description appears in a photo on Elijah’s missing poster.
Elijah was reported missing at about 11 a.m. Feb. 20 from the Two Rivers apartment of Jesse Vang, 39, the boyfriend of Elijah’s mother, Katrina Baur, 31, of Wisconsin Dells. Baur and Vang both have been charged with child neglect in the case.
The blanket was found about 3.7 miles from Vang’s residence in the 3900 block of Mishicot Road in Two Rivers, police said.

Residents of Manitowoc County and the surrounding area are being encouraged to continue searching all urban, rural, land and water areas for Elijah and any evidence relating to his disappearance.
Along with the blanket, a 1994 Nissan Altima was impounded in the case. Police reviewed Feb. 19 footage from a camera in the vehicle.
According to an amended criminal complaint filed on March 7, texts between Vang and Baur from Feb. 13-18 showed two visits from Baur to Vang’s apartment on Feb. 13 and 16. A Feb. 14 photo of Elijah blindfolded and bruised was later deleted from Baur’s phone. Baur had sent Elijah to stay with Vang for perceived behavior reasons.
Elijah is about 3 feet tall, weighs 35-40 pounds, has “sandy” hair and brown eyes, and has a birthmark on his left knee. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, a long-sleeve dark shirt, and red and green slip-on shoes with dinosaurs on them, according to a missing child post.
There is a reward of up to $40,000 for information leading to Elijah’s location and/or additional arrests relating to his disappearance. Anyone with information can notify the Two Rivers Police tip line at 844-267-6648.
