Country music star Zach Bryan’s The Quittin Time Tour broke a record at Prudential Center last week, marking the highest attendance ever for a single show in the Newark arena’s 16-plus year history. A record 19,151 guests piled in March 15 to hear the “Something in the Orange” singer play for two hours. Bryan, 27, also played the venue March 14.

Prudential Center also shared the news across their social platforms, noting: “Zach Bryan, hit maker and RECORD BREAKER All 19,000+ of you in the building last Friday night are part of #PruCenter history.”

“A massive congratulations to Zach Bryan and the entire Quittin Time touring team for breaking Prudential Center’s venue attendance record after two unforgettable performances this past week,” Sean Saadeh, Executive Vice President Entertainment, HBSE (the venue’s parent company), said in a statement. “The electric atmosphere from New Jersey’s loyal fans combined with the magnificent production of the show was truly a perfect storm for back-to-back memorable nights that will be talked about for years to come.”

Past attendance records at Prudential Center includes Travis Scott’s concert last December, which had 18,641 guests, while Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band previously had an attendance of 18,284 in January 2016 and 18,220 guests in April 2023. According to the arena, four of the top five highest-attended Prudential Center concerts have taken place within the last year, due in large part to artists using smaller stages or 360-degree “in the round” setups — as Bryan did — allowing for more standing-only tickets to be sold on the floor.
