CLARKSTON, Wash. - A man was arrested by the detectives near Clarkston for possessing 3,000 fentanyl pills and a gun.

Detectives from the Quad Cities Drug Task Force (QCDTF), arrested a suspected drug trafficker in Clarkston on March 21 of this afternoon. 

QCDTF detectives had been actively monitoring the subject’s activities which led to obtaining a search warrant for the individual and his vehicle. 

Detectives observed the individual driving earlier in the day and believed he had fentanyl at that time.  

Coordinating with local Law enforcement agencies, including Lewiston police, Clarkston police, Washington State Patrol and Asotin County, officers conducted a traffic stop just west of Clarkston on Highway 12. 

During the execution of the warrant, detectives located and seized what is believed to be approximately 3000 fentanyl pills and a loaded gun which was determined to be stolen.

As a result, detectives booked 38-year-old Justin W. Hoffman of Clarkston into the Asotin County Jail on a felony charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with intent to Deliver Fentanyl.  

Hoffman is also a convicted Felon.
