All things considered, it was a pleasant day for the White Sox homer opener.

Early cloud cover will break up around Chicagoland as Thursday goes along, leaving plenty of sunshine for the 3:10 p.m. first pitch at Guaranteed Rate Field. High temperatures will be in the low 50s, which is about normal for this time of year and warmer than it was Wednesday.

It’ll remain dry, until a higher chance for rain moves in later Friday overnight into Saturday, which could produce storms.

High temps are in the mid-50s for Friday and climb to around 60 for Saturday, as Easter weekend commences.
