AllerVie Health Announces Leadership Promotions, New Hire

"Our recent executive promotions and addition of a new VP represent our commitment to building a strong leadership team capable of driving innovation and delivering exceptional care to our patients," CEO Tae Kim said.

AllerVie Health, a Plano-based national network of allergy clinics, announced several vice president promotions and a new hire to its executive team. The company said the moves solidify the company’s position as a frontrunner in allergy and immunology.

CEO Tae Kim said that the recent executive promotions and the addition of a new VP represent AllerVie’s commitment to building a strong leadership team “capable of driving innovation and delivering exceptional care to our patients.”

According to AllerVie, James Calderwood has been promoted to vice president of operations and will oversee more than 80 clinics, a patient contact center, and mixing labs across AllerVie’s 13 states.

The company said Calderwood will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing the P&L, spearheading strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring staffing optimization. Before his promotion, Calderwood was senior regional director of operations, where he oversaw operations for over 30 clinics in the northeast across Maryland, D.C., Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Becky Minyard has been promoted to vice president of human resources. Previously, Minyard was senior director of human resources and has been instrumental in driving initiatives related to talent acquisition, MD recruitment, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and organizational training and development. In her new role, Minyard will continue to lead the human resources team.

Ross Boatwright has been hired as vice president of strategy and practice integration of the newly created AllerVie experience division. AllerVie said he has extensive experience in healthcare strategy and business development and will play a pivotal role in leading patient experience and practice integration initiatives. The company noted that Boatwright’s expertise will be crucial in identifying and piloting growth opportunities for the business, enhancing patient access, and successfully integrating acquired practices across the organization.

In a statement, CEO Kim said that each individual “brings unique skills, experience, and passion to their respective roles” and expressed confidence that they will “make significant contributions” to the company’s continued success.
