WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY:

Temperatures at sunrise Wednesday morning will be in the upper 50s with a few areas of rain.

Showers and thunderstorms, some producing very heavy downpours, will gradually expand late Wednesday, into Wednesday night. A few storms late Wednesday and Wednesday night could become strong-severe, mainly over southern Middle Tennessee. Damaging wind gusts are the main threat. That said, a period of very heavy rain will affect most of the Mid State at one time or another, as well.

Rain is very likely at times through Thursday across Middle Tennessee.

Rain will taper to just showers on Thursday. It’ll be cooler but not cold with highs in the 60s.

Drier weather will overtake all of the Mid State Thursday night.

FRIDAY & THIS WEEKEND:

Friday looks brighter, breezy, and seasonably mild.

This weekend will be simply gorgeous. Count on lows in the 40s on Saturday. Saturday afternoon will top off at 77° under sunshine.

Sunday will feature a few more clouds. Low, 56. High, 80.

NEXT WEEK:

Warm and humid weather is on the way for early next week.

As we approach Wednesday, the chance for a few showers or an isolated thunderstorm will increase.
