GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — From now to May 31, the Guilford County Schools school bus transportation registration window will be open.
New and current students at the following 25 schools must re-register for transportation. The school system cites "high numbers of non-ridership," as the reason why.

- Gibsonville Elementary
- Brightwood Elementary
- Kernodle Middle
- Northern Elementary
- McLeansville Elementary
- Madison Elementary
- Colfax Elementary
- Summerfield Elementary
- Rankin Elementary
- Monticello-Brown Summit Elementary
- Oak Ridge Elementary
- Pearce Elementary
- Sedalia Elementary
- Reedy Fork Elementary
- McNair Elementary
- Stokesdale Elementary
- Simkins Elementary
All students who have never registered or will have a change of address this fall can register by clicking here.
Additionally, parents should know that newly admitted Early/Middle College at GTCC students or current students whose home addresses have changed will only be provided transportation based on their home school attendance zone.
The new transportation service zones can be found here.
However, current Early/Middle College at GTCC students with an assigned bus stop and those not living in the mentioned zones will retain transportation through graduation, unless they move.

- May 13 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Eastern High
- May 14 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- May 18 -12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Grimsley High
- May 15 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Southern High
- May 15 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Northern High
- May 15 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- May 18 - 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Northeast High
- May 16 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- May 18 - 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Northwest High
- May 17 - 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- May 18 - 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Dudley High
- May 18 - 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
