SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Every year, the City of Santa Fe gets grant money to help boost housing in lower-income communities. Now, they are inviting the public to comment on the plan for the latest round of funding.

The money comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In the 2024-2025 program year plan are funds for Habitat for Humanity emergency home repair, services for homeless sheltering, improvements to the Transitional Living Program, and other projects.

The full plan can be found at this link. Written comments can be sent to Cody Minnich at cjminnich@santafenm.gov before May 10. The Governing Body will discuss the plan at a May 8 public hearing.
