Power restored after crash on Middle Sound Loop Road

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A crash downed a utility pole on Middle Sound Loop Road at 9 p.m. on Friday, according to the NC State Highway Patrol.
Per Trooper L. Villagomez, a pickup truck was improperly passing and attempting to make a left turn onto Wellington Drive when the driver crashed into another vehicle.
The truck then collided with a utility pole and landed on its left side in a ditch.
No one was injured in the crash.
Power has since been restored in the area.
