Lee’s Summit man killed in fiery motorcycle crash

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) - A truck and motorcycle collided Thursday evening, killing a Lee’s Summit man.
Benjamin A. Zumwalt, 32, died of his injuries after emergency crews transported him to a hospital.
Emergency crews responded to NE Todd George Road and NE Chipman Road around 7:45 p.m.
The initial police investigation indicated the motorcycle and a truck collided at the intersection. The impact caused both the truck and motorcycle to catch fire.

The driver of the truck was not seriously injured.
