Girls on the Run to host Prom on the Run dance party May 10 to raise funds
Girls on the Run of Western Colorado is excited to announce its upcoming fundraising event Prom on the Run, which will take place 7-11 p.m. May 10 at 10 Mile Music Hall in Frisco.
Prom on the Run invites attendees to dust off their old prom dresses and pair them with their favorite running shoes or sneakers for a night of nostalgia, dancing and star-powered fun.
The evening will feature cocktails, a fajita bar and a photo booth for prom pictures.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our programming and our coaches with a fun night out,” Girls on the Run board member Jillian Benbow said in a news release. “This event promises to be a memorable and enjoyable evening for everyone while supporting an organization dedicated to empowering young girls in our community.”
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Girls on the Run of Western Colorado, supporting its mission to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through running and life-skills programs.
