INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed and another injured in a shooting on the near north side of Indianapolis Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. April 10 in the 3300 block of Graceland Avenue, near West 33rd Street and North Capitol Avenue. Officers arriving to the scene found two people who had been shot.
One of the victims, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person, a woman, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, police said.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as 46-year-old David Jesus Lopez.
There is no word at this time about a possible motive or suspect in the shootings.
