One lucky Australian could find themselves $50 million richer with one in six expected to have an entry in Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw — the third biggest for the year.
The weeks-long absence of an Oz Lotto division one winner has allowed the game’s jackpot prize to soar.

Should someone take it home after draw 1573, they will become one of the year’s biggest winners.
“They would only be surpassed by the two Aussies who shared the record $200 million Powerball prize in February this year,” The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said.
“Imagine the life you could lead with an extra $50 million in the bank account – that dream car, house or holiday you’ve always longed for could become a reality.”
Earlier in the week, The Lott officials revealed the luckiest numbers — that is, the most frequently drawn — since mid-2022: 47, 21, 28 and 5.
They also shared the least frequently drawn numbers — 15, 26, 45 and 34.
Depending on each player, that information could inspire a range of number-selection strategies, but it all comes down to luck.
But Hobdell’s best tip for hopeful players isn’t about the numbers on their entry.
“We’re always asked about our biggest tips when it comes to our lottery games, and our best advice to players is to always register entries to a player card or online account,” she said.
“This way, we can contact any registered division one winner straight after the draw with the life-changing news.
“They may not need to head into work on Wednesday morning, or ever again.”
