CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Historic Collinsville’s season opening is this Saturday, along with music on the lawn at Beachaven Winery and the Woodward Library’s annual fundraising event. There are lots of fun things to do this weekend with beautiful weather expected in the upcoming days.

Historic Collinsville Season Opening: 2024 will feature themed “Second Saturdays at the Site” with self-guided tours along with the opportunity to walk into the rooms of the buildings and interact with historical interpreters. Opening day is this Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Historic Collinsville, 4711 Weakley Road.

Music on the Lawn:  Wes Beeler will be performing at Beachaven Winery on Friday, April 12, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Meanwhile, the Winters will be performing at Beachaven Winery on Saturday, April 13, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kick back and enjoy the live music!

Woodward Library Society Social: Join the Woodward Library Society, at 416 College Street, for a fundraising event at the annual Society Social. Enjoy a delightful dinner while immersing yourself in a captivating presentation by Minoa Uffelman, Ellen Kanervo & Phyllis Smith as they share insights from their book The Civil War Letters of Sarah Kennedy. Plus, don’t miss the chance to bid on unique items in a silent auction. The event will begin on Saturday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. and is $65 for nonmembers.
