Arizona Ski Resort Selling Lift Tickets For As Low As $19

Arizona skiers, the time to nab cheap lift tickets at Arizona Snowbowl—ahead of the season's end—is now.

Yesterday, the resort announced that it had tickets on sale for as low as $19.

Like many major ski resorts, Arizona Snowbowl relies on a surge pricing model—the higher the demand, the more tickets cost. As you might expect, skier demand tends to dwindle towards the end of the season, creating an opening for bargain-minded skiers in the form of $19 lift tickets.

At the time of writing this—April 10th, 2024—you can still nab those cheap, cheap tickets at Arizona Snowbowl. However, keep in mind that their price could increase with additional demand.

The surge model, of course, is a double-edged sword.

Last ski season, Arizona Snowbowl made headlines for the opposite of cheap tickets. During a period of high demand, tickets at the resort reached above $300 as Flagstaff, Arizona, residents scrambled to take advantage of a mid-season storm.

Love it or hate it, we're living in a surge pricing world, which, depending on the demand, can be a blessing or a curse. In this late-season case at Arizona Snowbowl, it's a blessing.
