Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Fantastic spring weather continues with a slight chance of rain
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’re starting the day a bit warmer in the 40s as you head out and that will translate into an afternoon in the 70s for us all. More great spring warmth as the clouds slowly increase this afternoon.
Those clouds could give us a few very spotty showers after 5pm tonight but they’ll be very very limited. If you see rain showers move through, you’ll be very lucky to get a tenth of a inch in your gauge. Most won’t even settle the dust.
That chance of showers continues overnight into early Thursday with them likely long gone by 8am. The rest of Thursday will be sunny but very windy. Gusts to 45 mph from the northwest are possible in the afternoon. That will help keep us cooler in the lower 60s.
It will be a short lived cool down through with us back up near 70 by Friday and the 80s consistently look likely for the weekend! Thankfully it won’t be windy so the 80s will be very enjoyable all weekend long!
