The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has jumped to $120 million with a cash option of $55.8 million.
The winning numbers were: 1, 12, 14, 18 and 66. The Mega Ball drawn was 16 with a Megaplier of 2X.
No one across the country hit Tuesday’s $97 million jackpot. Two second-prize, $1 million tickets were sold — one in Kansas and one in the Ozone Park section of Queens in New York City. Each matched five numbers but not the Mega Ball.
Tuesday’s winning numbers were: 34, 43, 51, 52 and 69. The Mega Ball drawn was 25 with a Megaplier of 4X.
Mega Millions drawings are held on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each.
The odds of a $2 ticket winning the Mega Millions jackpot by matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1.
Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize valued of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is worth an estimated $46 million with a cash option of $21.5 million.
