ISHPEMING, Mich. (WLUC) - The second Courage Incorporated fundraiser saw plenty of community support.

People filled the parking lot of the River Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming to enjoy a spaghetti dinner and try to win prizes.

Erik Conradson, Courage Inc. executive director, said they had more than $12K worth of raffle prizes donated by businesses in the Marquette County area.

Courage Incorporated provides free all-inclusive outdoor excursions for physically disabled individuals, veterans, and people living with chronic or terminal illnesses.

“All of the funds that we’re raising go right back into our programs,” Conradson said. “We’re a complete volunteer organization so we’re not paying salary or wages. All the money that we’re raising here today is going to go right into funding our missions and helping offset those operational costs.”

If you couldn’t attend the fundraiser but would like to learn more or donate, you can do so at the Courage Incorporated website.
