Northeast Ohio’s weekend weather forecast: Warmer weather returns

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Highs in the upper 40s on Friday will climb to around 70 degrees by Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service’s forecast for this weekend calls for rain and highs around 48 on Friday followed by sunshine and highs in the 50s on Saturday. Sunday could see more stormy weather, but highs could hit 70 degrees.

Windy conditions, potentially damaging, are expected with gusts over 40 mph expected. Saturday will still be windy with speeds topping 20 mph. However, winds will calm down by Sunday.

Work week forecast

Get ready for more sunshine on Monday with highs in the upper 60s. Tuesday will probably see more rain showers with highs breaking into the mid 70s.
