The Staten Island FerryHawks are now accepting nominations for their esteemed “Harbor Hero of the Game” program.
This tradition, which began during the team’s inaugural season in 2022, is the team’s way of honoring individuals who exemplify extraordinary service to our community.
Staten Island boasts a population full of everyday heroes and essential workers, from first responders to civil servants, all contributing to the well-being of their families and neighborhoods.
It is in recognition of these unsung heroes that the FerryHawks continue to honor one special individual during each of their home games. Harbor Heroes are recognized during the game, receive complimentary tickets and a framed certificate signed by the FerryHawks manager.
