SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) – This week’s high school standout has already made history as a member of the Greenville Triumph.

Hillcrest’s Anthony Grudko signed an academy contract with the team just a day after making his on-the-pitch debut in a team win over Knoxville on April 3, making him the youngest player in program history.

The contract keeps the junior eligible to play both in high school and college, and allows him to develop with a professional team.

According to MaxPreps, the 16-year-old leads the Rams in total goals (17), assists (14), points (48) and shots (21), while also leading in the “per game” category of each.

Grudko also played a pivotal role this past season in his first year as placekicker with the Hillcrest football team, kicking the game-winning field goal in overtime against Byrnes in the second round of playoffs.
