LONGVIEW, Texas — A former Longview doctor who faces charges of child sexual abuse has settled one of five civil lawsuits filed on behalf of his former patients.
Matt Elza Hipke, 61, is charged with three counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child younger than 14, aggravated sexual assault of a child and indecency with child sexual contact.
He was originally arrested in August 2020.
