The hosts of “The View” on Friday morning received a very loud and annoying emergency alert live on the air after a 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit the Northeast — and they were not happy about it.

While discussing the quake, the hosts got the alert, which said New Yorkers can resume their normal activities while warning of the possibilities of aftershocks.

“Make it stop!” co-host Joy Behar said as she attempted to shut off her alert.

“I need some tequila,” Ana Navarro-Cárdenas said.

The earthquake hit the northeastern United States at 10:23 a.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. New York City, Boston, and Philadelphia were among the cities that felt the quake and saw buildings and homes shake. The earthquake’s epicenter was in Lebanon, New Jersey, about 50 miles west of New York City.

New York officials did not report any damages or injury due to the tremor, but small aftershocks were reported in New Jersey in the following hours, including a 2.2-magnitude shock that hit near Lebanon, according to the Geological Survey.
