‘Summer-like’ day ahead for Sunday

‘Summer-like’ day ahead for Sunday

What We’re Tracking

  • Hot and sunny Sunday

  • Staying mild

  • Chance for storms midweek

Temperatures have managed to only drop down into the upper 50s and lower 60s as winds have backed off and we held on to clear skies. Keep in mind, our average high temperature is in the middle 60s.

Rain chances stay rather limited to wrap up the weekend. We hold on to the heat for our Sunday with summer-like temperatures sticking around. Less wind, but even warmer with some lower 90s on Sunday afternoon.

Our next best chance for rain looks to arrive Monday afternoon and evening with strong storms and even some showers lingering into early Tuesday. Some of the thunderstorms my be strong to severe Monday evening, and we’ll keep an eye on this storm chance over the coming days.

After this system moves through, we stay well above average in terms of temperatures, but we’ll be slightly cooler than over the weekend. Highs through midweek will be in the lower to middle 80s with nighttime lows in the 50s and lower 60s.
