St. Joseph Christian School to begin construction on Nehemiah 2.0 project

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) St. Joseph Christian School announced on Monday, April 15, 2024, that they will begin construction on a new expansion project titled Nehemiah 2.0. 

Nehemiah 2.0 project includes five classrooms, a second gymnasium, locker rooms, a commons area, a concession area, a large mezzanine with a walking track, and a reinforced roof which will double as a storm shelter. 

According to the school, unless major construction delays occur, the new addition will be open for the 2025-26 school year. 

The new addition will also increase enrollment to around 700 students. 

The school is currently raising funds to complete the design which includes an elevator for ease of access.
