The Orange County Sheriff's Office says the victim in a shooting on Monday has died. Around 5:20 a.m., a 43-year-old man, Lionel Nelson Jr., was found shot near 24th Street and Lee Street. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Deputies said a suspect, 68-year-old Jesse Hill, was taken into custody on the day of the shooting on the charges of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm. According to Orange County deputies, since Hill's arrest, Nelson has died.The sheriff's office said Hill is now facing charges of second-degree murder with a firearm.
