MonoNeon Brings Hannibal Buress, Mike Stern, More To Blue Note Jazz Club For 'Quilted Stereo' Residency [Photos/Videos]

MonoNeon celebrated the upcoming release of his new album, Quilted Stereo, with a ten-show residency at New York’s famed Blue Note Jazz Club featuring special guests Hannibal Buress, Mike Stern, Eric Gales, and more.

The five-night residency ran from Tuesday the 9th until Sunday the 14th, with early and late shows at 8:00 and 10:30 p.m. each night. In addition to showcasing the colorful musician’s stellar band and highlighting material from his new album, including the lead single “Church of Your Heart”, plus fan favorites like “Hot Cheetos” and “Invisible”, the run demonstrated the breadth of MonoNeon’s pervasive influence with a bevy of special guests from distant reaches of the music and comedy worlds.

On Thursday and Friday, MonoNeon welcomed blues guitarist Eric Gales to sit in with his ensemble. Ghost-Note‘s Robert “Sput” Searight also sat in for a song during late show on Thursday. Comedian Hannibal Buress then performed under his hip-hop alias Eshu Tune on Saturday, and on Sunday, MonoNeon concluded the residency with help from jazz guitarist Mike Stern.
