Annapolis will host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Saturday along West Street.

The parade will step off at noon at Amos Garrett Boulevard and follow West Street to Church Circle and down Main Street to City Dock. Rolling road closures will occur along the parade route during the procession.

The event, hosted in partnership with the Annapolis Drum and Bugle Corps, was previously held in January to commemorate the work and life of King, but bad weather caused organizers to permanently move the parade to April in 2019. The National Weather Service is forecasting mostly sunny skies and breezy with highs in the 60s on Saturday.

Parking for the event is available at city garages including Park Place, Knighton, Gotts and Hillman. The city’s free Magenta shuttle will operate between Park Place and City Dock from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Track the shuttle at accessannapolis.com.
