Manitowoc police are investigating after a 52-year-old man was found dead inside a house on fire Wednesday evening

Officials have yet to release details about the fire or the man who was found deceased.

MANITOWOC — A 52-year-old man Manitowoc man has died after a house fire in the city Wednesday afternoon.

Manitowoc Fire Rescue Department crews responded to a house fire at 4:48 p.m. April 10 in the 2500 block of Wollmer Street, the department said in a news release. The release said the man was found dead inside the home.

Manitowoc Police Department detectives are investigating the incident. The release did not include details about the fire or the man who died. Authorities also did not share the man’s name, whether he lived in the home or the cause of his death.
