Ariana Madix has lifted the lid on the ultra-simple and budget-friendly beauty routine that she relies on to keep her face and body looking their best during her Broadway run as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

In a recent interview for Elle's Waking Up With series, Madix, 38, revealed everything she does to make sure she's in best shape to keep up with her demanding schedule.

Madix, who has starred on Bravo's hit Vanderpump Rules for the past 11 years, skyrocketed to fame in March 2023 after it was discovered that her longterm partner, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her with fellow cast member Rachel Leviss.

Now, the reality star is not only appearing as Hart, but was recently named as the new host of Love Island: USA. She also placed third on last season's Dancing with the Stars, along with partner Pasha Pashkov.

Madix shared some of the keys to her success with Elle from her temporary bedroom in New York City, explaining that her morning began by texting her mom with an emoji, something the two of them do every day.

After getting out of bed, Madix took viewers along to her gorgeous, black-and-white marble bathroom as she got started with some skincare.

'Put some cold water on my face to wake myself up a little bit,' she began, as patted a towel all over her face.

Next, the Bravolebrity applied a $36 cream skin toner and moisturizer from skincare brand Laneige using a cotton pad.

She followed it up with a layer of the COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, which retails for just $25.

'I think my skin type is just getting older,' Madix joked. 'And so, I have these lines around my eyes.'

She applied the serum with her fingers, spreading it all the way down to her neck.

After that, the Single AF Cocktails author followed up by slathering on the $26 COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream on her face.

'I like it 'cause it's really, like... it's intense,' she laughed as she rubbed it between her fingers, showing of its extremely gooey texture.

During the interview, Madix also admitted that she didn't see a dermatologist or a facialist.

'I wish I had a dermatologist, maybe my skin would look better,' she said.

'I haven't seen a dermatologist, except for one time, when I had melanoma, which was not fun,' she added. 'That's the only time I've been to a dermatologist.'

She emphasized that her morning skin routine was pretty 'low key' and simple, as she doesn't really enjoy those early hours in the day.

Of course, the People's Choice Award winner also has to make sure that her vocal cords are healthy for her impending performances.

Madix revealed that she uses a Sinus Steam Inhaler from Vicks to get things going - sometimes, she'll even sit in the steam of a hot shower, too.

'These steamers are great just to kind of start knocking things loose and getting things warmed up before I have to start talking and singing all day,' she explained.

The star shared that as a Broadway actress, the most important thing was being able to last through her shows and stay healthy.

When she's filming back in Los Angeles for Vanderpump Rules, Madix said that her morning routine stayed pretty much the same, except for the fact that she got to wake up a little later, as shoots were never scheduled before 11 a.m.

'The only thing that changes is I would put makeup on,' Madix said.

'And then try to think of an outfit and then freak out because I can't think of anything cute and text Katie [Maloney] or Scheana [Shay] or Lala [Kent] and say what are you guys wearing, and try to figure out some things... it's a little bit more stressful.'

After she finishes steaming, she makes a cup of Throat Coat tea and then grabs two wellness devices - a foot roller and Hyperice Hypervolt massage gun, which starts at $129.

'I learned while doing Dancing with the Stars that I have very high arches, so rolling them out every day is just a way to help keep them healthy because I am dancing in heels,' she said.

'It's crazy, because when I roll out my feet, they crack now, which I've never experienced, it's a wild feeling to have,' Madix continued.

'Now I'm kind of addicted to it, it's the best feeling, I highly recommend rolling your feet out every day.'

Finally, she goes in with the Hyperice gun, which she revealed was actually left behind in the dressing room by Charlotte d'Amboise, who took the stage as Hart before Madix.

'I use this on my calves,' she said, explaining that she has pretty 'tight calves' from her performances.

The Broadway star also massages out her quads with the device as well.

'Just kind of getting here with this and getting this warmed up, and then I can start stretching and stuff,' Madix said.

She concluded the clip by revealing that she was off to a vocal lesson before her extended run in Chicago wrapped up on April 7.
