Chester police are investigating a shooting at Sixth and Walsh streets, when a bullet struck a man leaving a party.
Police Commissioner Steven Gretsky said the 18-year-old from Upper Darby heard the shots and didn’t realize he was hit until he walked away.
At that point, he walked to the nearby Chester police station to report the injury, police said. Dispatch reports say he was struck in the stomach.
The shooting occurred Friday about 11:45 p.m. The victim was taken to a hospital and treated for his wound.
Gretsky said no suspects have been identified, however the investigation is active.
